The report of the 2023 Academic Audit of the University of Waikato – Te Whare Wānanga o Waikato was released on 14 December 2023. The University of Waikato academic audit was the fourth to be conducted of a New Zealand university using the Cycle 6 methodology. Cycle 6 audits cover all aspects of a university which are related to teaching, learning and student support. The audit panel made a total of 19 commendations, 15 affirmations and 11 recommendations.
