Quality Forums
The 2020 Quality Forum was held via Zoom on 20 November 2020. Wellbeing and engagement during the Covid-19 pandemic, remote reviews, impact of academic audit, maintaining assessment standards and academic integrity and Re-engaging with academic audit were discussed at the Forum. Student Voice Summits
The fifth annual Student Voice Summit, jointly organised by NZUSA, Te Mana Ākonga, Tauira Pasifika, the New Zealand International Students’ Association and AQA, was held on 19 November 2020. The Summit was hosted by the Ministry of Education, Te Tāhuhu o te Mātauranga. The programme for the day is available here and the Student Voice Handover Guide is available here. Information about the fourth annual Student Voice Summit, held on 14 November 2019 and jointly hosted by NZUSA, Te Mana Ākonga, Tauira Pasifika, the New Zealand International Students’ Association and AQA can be found here. Cycle 6 Self-Review Workshops
AQA piloted a Cycle 6 Self-Review workshop in Wellington in June 2019. This was followed by two more workshops in Auckland and Dunedin at the start of 2020. Slides from the workshop are available here.
AQA has partnered with the Open Polytechnic of New Zealand to develop a short course on the iQualify platform. The course covers Cycle 6 Self-Review topics discussed during theses face-to-face workshops. Please contact the Executive Director to ‘enrol’.
Academic Integrity Workshops
The Academic Quality Agency for New Zealand universities, Universities New Zealand and the New Zealand Qualifications Authority, in conjunction with the Australian Government Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency, delivered two Academic Integrity workshops in Auckland and Christchurch on the 4th and 5th February 2020.

AQA's 25th Anniversary
The Academic Quality Agency for New Zealand Universities (AQA) celebrated its 25th Anniversary in November 2018.

Support for Quality
AQA’s ‘Support for Quality’ Conference was held annually from 2013 to 2017. Each year, the Conference included presentations and discussion sessions spanning a wide range of topics under an overarching theme of academic quality.

The AQA 2014 Support for Quality Conference was held on Wednesday 10 September 2014. The venue for this event was the Royal Society of New Zealand, 11 Turnbull Street, Thorndon, Wellington.
